Service Agreement

Template for repair diagnostics, device handling, approval workflow, warranty boundaries and client acceptance.

Service Agreement Template

This Service Agreement is concluded between [DeviceFix / Company name], registered under [CUI/VAT], with registered office at [Address], and [Client name], for diagnostics, repair, maintenance or technical service work on the equipment described below.

1. Equipment and client identification

2. Diagnostic authorization

The client authorizes DeviceFix to perform technical diagnostics, including safe disassembly where required. Diagnostics may reveal additional faults that are not visible before opening or testing the equipment.

3. Repair approval

No paid repair is considered approved until the client accepts the estimate, scope and limitations communicated after diagnostics. Emergency or priority work may require separate approval and may involve additional cost.

4. Data responsibility

The client is responsible for backups before submitting equipment. DeviceFix does not guarantee preservation of data unless a separate data recovery agreement is signed. For devices that cannot be powered or accessed, data availability cannot be confirmed before diagnostics.

5. Previous repairs and hidden damage

Devices with liquid damage, previous intervention, missing components, incorrect parts, short circuits, corrosion or intermittent faults may have unpredictable behavior. The client accepts that full restoration may not be technically possible.

6. Warranty boundary

Warranty applies only to the specific repaired/replaced component or operation, and does not cover unrelated faults, impact damage, liquid exposure, software changes, user damage or pre-existing hidden defects.

7. Storage and abandonment

Devices not collected within [X days] after completion or refusal may be subject to storage fees. Devices abandoned for more than [X days] may be handled according to applicable law and written notice rules.
